Hello all
I have learned a lot from this thread , especially Mick , " women " after 35 years being married I knew she would come in handy

For me:

Acrylics

Brushes mainly but will use the airbrush if the opportunity presents,

Large scale busts is where I'm at lately 1/9 or 1/10, although I do have a fair few smaller scale figs as well. Also I prefer to work in resin over metal or plastic.

Not much interests me before the Boer war so from then on is what takes my fancy. Very little fantasy - I would prefer to do "real" people or at least actors playing real people. I like a character or subject that I can relate to on some level and the sculpt must be good.

Andrew , you must be expert in skin tones , can I ask , any tips on how to create a dirty unshaven look
john

John thanks for the compliment but I can't even spell expert mate !

As far as the unshaven / 5 o'clock shadow effect - a good mate of mine and a figure painter who I admire told me his trick was to mix the tiniest bit of dark green into the base coat and build up the effect gradually in thin glazes. Hope that helps a bit.

Acrylic for the almost total lack of odors
Brush, but I tried the airbrush for a horse I think I'll use it in the future
Full figures, 54 mm but lately I bought 75mm and a while ago a 90mm. When the piece is nice you do not look at the ladder
I love the flat and dpingo every now and then 28 mm
The busts are too difficult for my painting style
I like fantasy of others

I thought that I would only do Napoleonic .... that was not so
The favorite period is the twentieth century, but it is from 2000 BC to ww1

To put order i should quote mick 3272 ...
