A friend of mine has a small museum with diorama's where he explains history by using the diorama's.
In the last few years I made some dio's for him and when Corsar Rex came with the SA-man set a Kristallnacht/Bookburning diorama was possible. In these diorama's its not the quality of the paintwork etc.etc. but the story it needs to tell.
Just delivered it and the buyer was very happy with it !! I've added some "flame-lamps' to get a burning effect.Dolf the Rat was added on request of the buyer. It makes a great addition to the dio.
I used a book as base and added the well-known text to it.
Hopefully the schoolchildren that visit the museum will learn from it.

"Dolf the Rat" huh?!... Geez... Guess I'd better change my nick name... :D

Excellent dio Hans! (y)

And if it can help the Museum visitors, especially kids, becoming more tolerant, more open-minded, that would really be mission accomplished ;)

Cheers!

Dolf (not the rat :joyful: )

When they start burning books it is time to pack your bags and leave .............. A well presented lesson from history.

Thanks guys, for these great comments. I do a lot of figure-painting but making these diorama's for this small museum is always fun to do ( and since the owner is full of ideas I make 3-4 a year ). We are quite a good team since I seem to be able to transform his ideas into "3D".
