The club has undergone a name change from the White Rose Military Modelling Society to a more modern and wider ranging 'nom de guerre'. The idea was to encompass the vast swing to the Fantasy genre that is more prevalent at most shows and to reflect the clubs pedigree.

We have also relocated from the Leeds venue as a result of the venue being up for sale and redevelopment, As of the 14th January 2024 we will be meeting at the Galtres Centre Easingwold,
this is the location we have used for Figure World North for the last 2 years

When a club relocates there'll always be "winners" and "losers", and the added distance means that - regrettably - I won't be able to attend as often as I'd like in the future. But regardless of the name it's a great club of which I'm proud to be a member, and the new venue is in a lovely spot.

You are right Steve. It was not an easy decision to make,, but with the danger of the club being left without a venue it seemed right to move to somewhere with a long term future.
