Thanks Colin It was lovely to get a "bigger" view of the back of this piece. It was wonderful.

I've had this figure for many moons but i just have a wee look inside the box as it's a daunting paint job ,but after seeing this rendition i'll stop having a wee look in the box as it can just stay there.Admittedly depressing in the extreme, especially when you are about to start the same figgie. Lynne's friend does not get to see the euro one so I can preserve my reputation among my circle as amazing figure modeller-extraordinaire! I think he used acrylics so I may use oils to explain the difference in "style."

54mm!!! I'm just off to build a fire with paint and paint brushes. That is incredible
Hi Paul I've seen this up close and the contrast is much more subtle than in the photo.Hi
And just to be different, for me although from the neck down this is a fantastic paint job that is light years ahead of what I can do, even on a good day, but for me the painting of the face lets this figure down, just look how flat the lighting is and how pale the skin tone is and then look how dark the shading is on the cheeks, this is just wrong and for me spoils this excellent figure.
Just the way I see it.

In addition to that at this stage of his life Henry would hardly have been the picture of good health anyway
