Knight Models Joker doing it for my step son in the U.S. very early stages as yet, the face is proving trickier than I thought but think it's getting there Humbrol sand/flesh acrylic mix base with an oil wash over it, I can see the hair being tricky as well, as ever all comments welcome

Hi Steve,
I don't know too much about Comic Book Heros and Villans but you look to be off to a good start with this one Mate.
I'll be following you progress, as ever.
All the best
Keith

A good start mate and not the easiest figure to tackle . Is that a pin strip suit he's wearing. :nailbiting: Following.

Cheers Ken

Thanks folks I'm struggling to enthuse over the figure to be honest the sculpt is great but it's so static I just can't get a feel for it and yeah Ken the trousers are pinstriped :nailbiting:

Great start, I have this figure waiting its turn in my grey army!

I think it is a good oportunity to watch the movie again - why not watch the entire trilogy (before ben afleck ruins the batman franchise for ever).

Thanks a lot I don't really need an excuse to watch the movie but at least I can claim this time it's for research :cautious:
Steve

Yeah it is tricky Del at first I thought the face would be straightforward but on looking it isnt because you're trying to replicate a bad paint job but without it looking like a bad paint job :grumpy:
Steve

Nice start Steve,I like this figure but I hav'nt purchased it yet, looking forward to see how you handle the white face and red lips and I nearly forgot the green hair, this is a challenge but I'm sure you're up to it mate, are you going to giovanni's on the sat night at euro?

Cheers Brian yeah the hair is a whole other can of worms it's not really green in the Dark Knight version more yellowy greenish the red is yet another tricky bit to replicate, as I said it'd would be a lot more fun if I could take to the figure itself.
Steve

Well the green does look greenish yellow which is what you wanted, the lips look good so far as well, don't lose heart mate,I'm confident you'll accomplish what you set out :)

You forgot to tell me:,are you going giovanni's at Folkestone on the sat night?

Cheers Steve yeah it's deceptive alright, Thanks Brian I won't be doing Euro this year so no but I will be at Telford

Steve

Sorry to hear that Steve,is Gary still going?,I'm not sure about Telford yet,I'll see how the funds are nearer the time !
