It has been almost a year since i painted a figure, so i decided to try it again.
I chose La Fortezza 54mm white metal figure of famous Wild Bill Hickok for my come back, relatively easy and simple one to paint. I already assembled the few parts and cleaned molding seams and imperfections.

Like riding a bike MacCoy - I'm sure you'll be having a blast in no time :)
(Funnily enough when I re-started I chose a couple of cowboy figures too. These were by Sid Horton and lovely pieces. Having the freedom to play about with colours on a figure like this makes the whole re-embarking less stressful)

I can still see areas that need to be cleaned up. Prime it and go back again to clean up. It’s one of favorite things to do because the primer highlights imperfections.

Nice to you back at the bench.

There was quite a lot of pitting, especially on the jacket, i quess this is quite old figure, i have seen this packed by EMI, which has been out business for a few years now. La Fortezza seems to have lot of these older ones under their label.
