I'm about to begin on a particularly complex bust and this masking fluid would be a big help...if it works on resin. Has anyone used it or a similar masking fluid and, if so, how well did it work?
Thanks.
Rick

Not knowing this version particularly, but this kind of masking fluids should work fine on resin.
In case of doubt a small test on a non-essential part, such as a casting block, will tell.

Cheers

Hi Rick

Used this a couple of times , never had any issues ..should be fine , I used rounded end tweezers to help remove , not pointy ones to avoid damage to the model

Have fun

Thanks for the input, Kev. Since my initial post I discovered that Vallejo also makes a masking liquid. I Like their paints so I think I'm going to give them a try.

I dont buy branded masking fluids, I use Copydex latex adhesive - its the same stuff and you get more for a lot cheaper. It does pong, though!(y)

I ordered some Vallejo masking fluid and will give it a try as soon as it arrives, Kev. Will let you know how it works. For the moment I have to decide whether to paint the octopus first then mask it to paint the hat or vice versa. Decisions, decisions, decisions.
