Very, very nice Eduardo. How was the kit for you? I find some of the La Fortezza kits very nice, others not so much. I'm always afraid to buy one without seeing the casting first. It depends on sculptor.

Hi Jim. Thank you very much for your words. In fact, althought the figure is quite good, I had some problems with the kit because it came with the same side of the saddle, and two pieces missing, the handle of a gun and the visor of the helmet.
I tried to contact the with brand but I got no reponse, it seems La Fortezza figures are no longer available.
So I made the other side of the saddle , the handle and visor myself using epoxy. I´m not sculptor, so I did my best.
I made the flag using a tin sheet.
Here are some pics of that process, and a little SBS of the painting.

Well done Eduardo. Always good to see another winged hussar. How did you paint your golds?

Thank you Martin, Grant and Piotr. The gold of the saddle blanket friges is made with ocher, brown and red, for shadowing, this same mixture adding yellow for base color and ocher, lemon yellow and white for lights. The gold of the armour is acrylic metalic gold.

Well considering what you were stuck with in the beginning you have saved this figure well. We never would have known that you were missing half the saddle if you hadn't told us.

Thank you very much Jim, much appreciated. The truth is I have not gotten the same perfection as the original on my side of the saddle, but I could make up a little, with the paint.
