Blocking in around face helps to visualise but I think like you said going greener/darker would benefit

Your doing a nice job on this and seems your enjoying it as well

Yes purple looks good on her but I agree it might be batter darker. I'm pretty sure she used to drink in Aldershot in the 80's!

Back to the drawing board....
Darkened Winnie's complexion a little and brightened some key highlights. Played around with her hair color - Didn't want a normal color, wanted it to look 'witchly'.....
