Igor, excellent sculpting, really neat and very detailed work. I also like the action poses, not often portrayed together in this manner.

Cheers Ken

Igor,
I'm going to have to put my money on the Soviet, if he can get his bayonet around or swing the rifle butt forward the game will be up.

Like the others said so, it's very dynamic. It's always a big secret how people can made this art. I know the techical part, but the imagionairy part. You work from reference pics or something?

It's not only the art part I've problems, language aswell

Ken, Carl - thanks a lot, dear friends!
Ray-I am too "ill" for Russian!
Gordy-I bake about 7-10 times for a figure in scale 1:35. (2 times a head, 1 time a dummy, 1 time footwear. 1 time trousers, 2-4 times an overcoat and ammunition). In work I use a skeleton from a wire, which I cover by epoxy putty (like APOXIE SCULPT). Then I mould a mix of polymer clays - Fimo classic, soft and Premo. Some fine details mould by Tamiya epoxy putty (quick type)
Bert-The plot was thought up by me, and at statement of poses and at a choice of a uniform i was guided by help materials. Here some help images

Great detail work and sculpting Igor, badges and insignia are very well done especially for this small scale. I always enjoy seeing two or more figures in connection with each other to make a dramatic scene.

Hi Igor,

very nice work, good body language and poses. Interesting to hear that you are baking several times. Most people I know using polymer clays only bake once at the end to avoid cracks. What temperature are you baking at? Do you change temperature between sessions? Would be nice to hear some more details about your technique.

Best wishes

Mark

Dear Mark
For work I use mix Fimo classic, Fimo soft and Premo in the ratio approximately 50%-30%-20 %. At baking I use constant temperature 110-120 °С. Everyone baking lasts 10-15 minutes that baking layer kept small plasticity. Final baking I spend within 20-25 minutes. I have picked up these data by practical consideration as I bake in a usual household grill
