Hi everyone

I finally decided to open a new topic, to make things a bit clearer instead of adding pics in the topic "presentation" :)
So here are the two minis I'm currently working on, a Harem girl from Hasslefree and an ork, 99' old school from Brian Nelson, but they're the best orks ever sculpted for me!

So here's the lady:

And here's the big boy:

So if you have any questions or criticism, do not hesitate...
thanks :)

Matheiu, Very nice work. I like your painting style a lot. The armor/metal work on the ork is great, lots of color.~Gary

this looks like a Beauty and Beast post. Great paintwork on both.metal tones and rust effect on Orc and make up of Harem girl is perfect.congrats

They look fantastic, especially face of harem girl ! i have few question, i hope its not any secret ;) How have you done human skin and when you paint metallics, do you highligth to last highligth and then shade, of put basecoat, shade and highlight ? Oh, and did my pm arrived ?

Thanks everyone :)
The scale is 28mm for the girl, around 30-32mm for the ork.
Simon> For the human skin, you can have a look at one of my tutorials on Creafigs:
http://www.creafigs.com/page.php?id=348 Almost the same colors, same principles apply ;)
For the metallics, I prefer to highlight to last highlight, then I shade, then I add the rust and I finish putting some points of light with my strongest highlight.
For the pm, I've just checked and it did arrive, it's just that I had never checked before sorry...You can post in english on Creafigs no one will mind you writing in your own language! just introduce yourself in a few words and everything will be fine ;)

Ahh, i have two more questons  first is: how many layers do you use ? Your highlights are very strong but still smooth- thats the effect which i try to acheive but i cant get it look right.. can you give me any tips ? and second is how have you done make up on harem girl ?

Hi mathieu...really beautiful painting...I have both of these little gems..The Hasslefree girl was a free piece with an order...she sure is tiny, and you've painted her incredibly well..as for the 'eavy metal' orc...well, the flesh and the metal work are both astounding.

All the best...Roy.

Great work Mathieu!
I really like the Hasslefree minis and you have done a wonderful job painting her. I love her......eyes.
I liked the Ol' school 40K stuff too. I was an Ork fan, once.
Does anybody remember beak-nosed Space Marines?
;)
