Couldn’t find English translation on the site. Very nice, but need be sure of wood types. Many are now prohibited and would be confiscated. Plus, recycled wood from south east Asia can be infested with beetle larvae...it happens to afflict imported furniture

Friends, thanks for the feedback! Very glad that you like our products.
All wood is impregnated with preservative (wax + oil) and covered with several layers of varnish. So nothing wrong in it. :)

Not the chemicals, rather the actual wood..wood from endangered species are banned from international trade..and without an English translation on the site have no idea..

Some beautiful chunks of wood, perfect for accenting the figures. Love em AAA.

I'm betting most of these chunks are domestic, not endangered species, but I could be wrong. I have several chunks of wood from our pines and Tamarac trees from the back 40 specifically for this purpose. They also can make for some incredibly beautiful turned bowls, if you do it right.

Most of these knots come from insect infestation or lightning damage, some kind of scar grown over. A true treasure to find them out in the bush.

Most of your rare wood suppliers in the states will have a line similar to what I'm seeing. Not being a wood expert, per se, but I've seen many of these grains and features locally. A translation on the home page would be a big help, I agree.

Can you remedy this AAA? Cheers, Ski.

The bases from the first 7 photos seems to be made out of poplar grain. Same wood that I use for my bases. The wood on photo 8 could be chestnut grain. Not bad

Steve Ski, of course I can translate text from our website. For there's nothing of importance. This is a common advertising.

"Dear colleagues, we offer a variety of supports for military-historical miniatures and miniature sculptures.
If you want for their work not stereotyped the same supports, and such that each one was individual, try to pay attention to our products.
The material used are exotic woods.
Imitation of precious wood by treating the stain with cheap birch, pine, etc., do not. Therefore, unless otherwise stated, in the production of coasters dyes are applied. All products are covered only protective compositions, oil and semi-Matt varnish, which allows to preserve all the beauty of natural wood.
Today ready to offer coasters from padauk, Sapele, Zebrano, wenge, walnut, Karelian birch burl and the root of the maple, burls and roots of walnut, hornbeam burl, burl oak, burl elm Japanese, burl birch burl Ehrman and Japanese maple.
Before paying the order is ready to send additional photos on each stand so that you can choose not only size, but color and pattern.
Can make coasters according to your sizes.
The production time is one week.
If we found a stand that suits you in color and pattern, but a little more than necessary, also not a problem. Email us and we will do it for you a little less.
When ordering from 2000 rubles a 10% discount."

Thank you..apologies for seeming rude..but our custom officers get particular. And two years ago we bought a beautiful table made of recycled wood from SE Asia..some months later found piles of fine dust on the floor and beetles emerging ..

Coasters seem good idea..
