I believe that over the next few weeks some members may set aside their brushes and enjoy some football jut for a change.
I just hope the England fans going up the amazon take plenty, and I mean plenty of bug cream sun cream factor 200 and wear plenty.
Dont go near little rough patches of grass and try to stay on main lighted roads. Remember things can drop out the trees on you not just bite you on the ground.
Just to let you know, its a Sh*thole. hope you get back down to the coast very quickly. Lot of nice places down there.

Two teams on the list for me are Argentina and strangly enough England, although I believe other countries are available.
Hope its a great contest.

Steve, Carl not too worried about WC, More worried about fans that fly out to a sh*thole disguised as a modern town many miles into the jungle. Hope the travel agents give them lots of advice and they follow it.
Hate to have the fans rescued out the jungle by the SAS.

I'm afraid this will be the most competitive team during this WC

things are quite f**** up there these days..

I'll be watching every game I can and supporting England although I don't hold out too much hope.
Heat and humidity will give the South American teams a huge advantage but I think Germany, Spain and the Netherlands are the strongest sides with Greece an outside chance of the semis.

Is there a football tournament on then ?????

Painting time for me ..ye hah........

Now women's footy ..that's another ball game !!!!!

1. Brazil
2. Argentina
3. Germany
4. Spain

I'm interested to see how far Belgium and Uruguay will go. I think England is too young and inexperienced to go much further than the 16. They needed a couple more vets for balance. Regardless......I can't wait:woot::woot::woot:

So who's got a lazy hundred to put on Australia in the cup?

The last time I attended a professional football match it was Accrington Stanley v Peterborough back in 196bloody-long-time-ago.
The only time I've been in a premiership stadium was Old Trafford for a Rugby Union International.
I don't think that defines me as a football watcher.
