Hello Ernesto,
thank you for your nice words on the German team.
It was the youngest German team in the history of the World Cup.
At the end of the game against Italy, this young team lacks the experience and we had to play without the German "Canavaro ore Zidane", Thoersten Frings. He was the actual captain and that he was banned drops our chance to 50%.
But Itlay won and this is alright!
My warm congratulation to my Italian friends!
I think Germany had organised a beautiful Worls Cup.
Teh German people not only support the German team. Nearly every German had "adopted" an underdog. I supported Trinidad & Tobago and Mexico, my sister Australia, my wife Equador and so on and on...
I think we gave the world of football 4 weeks a warm welcome. Additional 16 years after the re-unifiation we found us as one nation in a friendly, tolerant and open minded way.
If you read the newespaper, the World Cup had chiped away a lot of the old anti-German prejustice. This ist for me the real winner of the game.

Bruno, Germany did a fantastic job hosting the World Cup, I did not expect any less from such a great country; you have demonstrated much class and elegance in a job well done.
I tip my hat to Germany and its wonderful team, please accept my sincerest congratulations.
The German team is an excellent young team with a great future ahead of them, I certainly expect to see them in four years in the World Cup finals challenging the World Champions Azzurri.

as italian i would like to say I AM SOOO PROUD.
After the world cup in Korea where Italy and Spain were shamelesslly
robbed i promised myself not to get excited about football again.
but i have to say this is bliss ,exstasy and Sunday night in the centre of Milan
the atmosphere was surreal.

As an Italian now living in Australia I am very proud of our Azzurri - well done and a result longggg overdue.
I also wanted to say well done to Germany (Bruno S and company) it was one of the best organised events and some friends of mine that went to Germany have mentioned home friendly the atmosphere was - thank you for welcoming all 32 nations to your home....
For Australia you can hold your head up high with pride you went toe to toe with the World Champions.

the Australian Team was very good. My daughter was a fan of the Australian team. with an Australian cap and an Australian flag on our house, together with the flags of Germany, Trinidad & Tobago, Mexico and Ghana. So verybody of our family had his own special faforite beside Germany.
