seeing the pieces in the contest made me think how much i suck !!! no seriously it really opened my eyes and it became quite obvious to at least one thing i was doing wrong . and that was painting way to heavy with way to thick of coats . i posted a good time ago my first real bust that i did, since then life got in the way of my painting but I'm back on track and should be able to get back at it soon . i plan on doing some jimmy flintstone pieces first . that way i can get back to it with some crazy fantasy stuff looking for clean painting and clean ab work , i will post as i go along looking for feed back along the way again nothing will be up for a bit yet . also opened my eyes to the historical side of the hobby and have decided to not focus on cheap or poorly sculpted fantasy pieces but to buy good clean casts . i will have less of them but it's quality over quanity from here on out . i actually bought a historic piece ill put pics up when i can . also bought a few scale 75 pieces both bust's and 75mm pieces . I'm sure gonna have some question when i get to the 75mm pieces LOL

Ha - I hear you! There were some amazing, incredible pieces there! I left feeling pretty inspired - there is nothing like seeing figures painted by the worlds best in person and 2 inches from your face...

Regards,
Phil
