Ok all i had my pain shot today and am feeling pretty good . We will arrive in Chicago fri morn hopefully around noon we plan to try to see the show until it closes on fri when we get back up to the room . I was thinking of getting hold of you that are there in this post Friday night sometime . And we can try to set up something to meet . I suck at trying to organize things LOL so if anyone has any better ideas please bring them up . Maybe we can do something Friday night or breakfast befor the show on sat or sun . And by the way if any of you that will be there work with oils and can give me a couple a couple mins to write a few notes down it would be a dream come true LOL .hope we can figure something out . So we can all meet .

Tomifune, these are indivualised so if PeeDee belonged to me I would not be best pleased if someone else was running around wearing it.

Redtom,
I have had many fun exchanges with Paul over the years on here. Do you really believe it a collectors item in the US and did not see the laughing emoji after indicating it was a jest?

Now I have a problem. I was about to place my 90 mm figure in its box for safe travelling to Chicago.
however the guy is almost 11" tall with its base seand is very heavy. I can easily screw him to the bottom of my wood case.
However, I will have to tilt him at a 90o angle to place him in the overhead bin.
This will place a lot of stress on the ankle pins.
SEriously, I'm afraid I will have to leave him here ! Don't know what to do really.
Now I think I'm going to paint more and more resin figures instead of metal if I plan to enter them in an international show !

Nap. Thanks. It is a bit late. But what a great idea
I am heading up registration with another Atlanta club member and we gathered a great bunch of volunteers. I will probably be there almost the whole time. I may recognize some names.

Safe travels everyone

Dee

Can't get to Chicago, but if anyone is travelling after the Expo to the Philadelphia area, we own Hamanassett Bed & Breakfast in the Brandywine Valley (20 minutes from Philly; 10 minutes to the Brandywine Battlefield and the Brandywine River Museum ( home to some of Shep Paine's box dioramas); 20 minutes to Valley Forge). Would enjoy extending our hospitality to Planet Figure members at discounted rates. Contact is through www.hamanassett.com. Enjoy Chicago!
