just a quick question, which Planet Figure members are going to visit the World Model Expo in July in Veldhoven ?
I will be there with Frank on the Trade Stand of Frank Miniatures and it would be great to meet up with some of the familiar faces from past Euro-Militaire shows.

Was the absent of the traditional uk stands at event due to the impacts brought by brexit?

I really miss them!

I spoke with the two english traders Hawk Miniatures and Sphere Products and the abscence of further british traders was explained as due to Brexit and the new import/export rules which as they said are so difficult to understand/abide by.
John from Sphere for instance had only flyers and order forms with him and he used the transport boxes, figure holders etc. with which he had brought his competition figures across the channel, on his trade stand as examples of his work......Great idea !! Gordon Mitchell from MMM unfortunately did not attend because of these new laws....very sad.
In four weeks we have the Kulmbach show and again...Unfortunately...no UK traders.

Unfortunately, the same is true for European traders going to UK shows. (As several traders at the show told me).
PS. Name It! was there, but we only ever give out brochures at shows, taking pre-orders and taking orders at the show.
Gordon told me ages ago, when Brexit came in, that he would not be trading at European shows anymore due to the paperwork and hassle involved.
PS. Name It! will be at Euroma and Sevres this year, so you will still see some UK traders !
