Thanks Nap for the BOS and the outlook to the next WME. Only 3 years to go - unless everything goes even more pear-shaped than now.
Unfortunately, I'm one of those people not on FB, so no Alabarda pictures for me...

I enjoyed this event very much (thanks to the sponsors of my free ticket that was offered by Kevin on this forum) - the number of entries in the contest and the quality was unbelievable - I do not envy the judges! IMHO there were several pieces that were eligible to become best of show.
Some brief thoughts:
The location was perfect and the number of traders and new products was astounding. Of course the hobby turns more and more towards fantasy themes but the quality of new creations in this corner of our hobby is amazing. This was reflected by the number of fantasy pieces in the contest that made more that 50% if I calculated correct. The same and more goes for new releases and was best seen at Pegaso`s stand where the historical related figures were no longer the "stars" at the display.
It was a pleasure to meet with friends from PF and especially with Andy Cairns and the guys at the stand of Oniria Miniatures.
Moving along the display boards of the contest was at times stressful due to people that cannot line up and move into one direction but push themselfes into the row from behind or move against the "stream" to take a picture close to the targeted piece and risk the damage of whole displays.

Enough said - I attach some pictures that I took (and some were taken by my son who is into fantasy stuff:) ...) and thanks once more to Kevin and the World Expo-Team from Eindhoven.
Cheers, Martin

They are the same photos, the ones in the link as the ones in Alabarda's facebook profile. I took them ..... ;)

I've succumbed to visual sensory overload, looking at pictures of all of the fine entries in this WME :D Thanks for sharing these!

Prost!

Grouping figures seems to be the new normal and of course has been made possible by the move to resin casting and the ability to create more dynamic figures and horses. Just stunned by the amazing work shown in the pictures the hobby goes from strength to strength........will be amazing to think where it will be by 2025.

Thank you Paco for providing the pictures.
