John Bowery
A Fixture
Finally I have reached the end run. The Title is now
"Oh God, give us the strength to move on" The plaque has been added to the base and the vignette has been returned to Guy Herrick as a Christmas present.
The two white knights are completely worn out after the battle, but the priest is still full of vim and vigour at the victory.
The photo's do not show the dust to well and the real thing looks a little more dusty both on the ground and the figures. I have no idea why the photo's washed out the dust?
The tile floor is like a slate stone pattern and there is a lighter brick pattern around the base of the column on the ground. So the base floor has two colours of stone.
I carried the marble effect into the base rubble taking the the other column has collapsed and broken up. The end of the broken piece is flat coated as it would not be a polished marble.
This has been a very satisfying project made special by returning it to guy as a Christmas present.
All comments are welcome and encouraged.
Thanks for looking and Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
Cheers
John
