Update 1.
After a couple off evenings painting I have the following pictures. Between looking at the TV at our new King I finished the khaki uniform (I think).
Leather work is base coated as are the stripes, some of them are unpainted.
I really would like to here some comments if the color is wrong.

Marc - I think your British khaki is great. I would not be a slave to the Vallejo shade as I think it may be a bit too green. I think we need to recognize that WWI British khaki looks different in diffrent lighting conditions and seasons and particulalry in different photographic conditions. Remembr too that photos of surviving items may not be the best guide as those items may have faded over time given the passage of 100 years, and through multiple washings and brutal field conditions. Also, from what I have seen the base colour is varies in appearence, sometimes towards being mroe greenish and sometimes more of a brown/yellow cast.

Marc - I think you have done a great job of ensuring that the correct yellow/brown shade is picked up. I wouldn't change a thing.
