WW1 Bombadier

I'm thinking of buying the attached figure,only thing is I've never painted this period before and am looking for a suitable undercoat for the trousers,preferably in Humbrol.As i'm an oil painter i'm having a hard time figuring out what the true colour of the trousers were as I've seen different tones.The one I've enclosed seems to me a bit on a greeny brown tone which I like very much but is it the correct colour.

I'm not familliar with Humbrol.
So I looked trough the WWW and find No. 26 will do.

Adrian Hopwood uses Mar yellow and black for khaki Brian.
Humbrol do a khaki drab, that should be near enough.

As per Adrian H , Brian my colour mix is the same mate, Carl's undercoate solution is the one that works
and the green/ brown colour / Khaki looks correct .
