Hello friends. This a figure I modeled for Andrea some months ago, It´s posible you recognize it, but i have took some more photos and I invite you to have a look.

Figure looks great Alfonso. You don't by any chance have any photos of the original sculpt do you? I'd love to see how well the casting captured the sculpting work.

Rifle

Hola Mortimer,

We had some discussion regarding the rifle the figure is carrying, at the time of its release. It is not the Enfield No1 MKIII one would expect, nor does it correspond with any other of the rifles which would fit that particular figure in the time period and theater depicted. Surely you could throw some light on this issue?

No, i doesn't look like an Enfield no I Mark III, it looks more to a Lee-Metford MK II, what is also correct.
Further i like what i see. Definetely a wonna have.

Yes it looks more like a Lee-Metford than a Lee-Enfield; but those were obsolete weapons, issued for training - I do not think these saw front line use, certainly that is not the rifle one would expect to see in the hands of a 1916-18 soldier. Maybe Mortimer will clear the matter and show period references.
