Dan the Gymnastiorka is basecoated "Khaki" from the range of paints by the company Coat d' arms. I think the paints are mainly aimed at the wargames/fantasy mini's market. They are available in the States from Brookhurst Hobbies Here
They have some useful colours but do have a bit of a shine when dry this can be sorted out though.

Roger - Miscommunication...my fault. You are painting the uniform in khaki, but what I was asking was, "Do you know the Russian name or English translated name for the color of the Imperial Russian Gymnastiorka tunic?" Like German feldgrau, French horizon bleu, etc. I've never seen a reference for what they called that color. :)

Unfortunately I badly know the English language. When I describe colour of our figures the Russian soldier of 1914 I write the name colour KHAKI.
You completely correctly have noted, that gymnasterka there was some more light colour, than trousers.
If you not against I shall look photos, which there are at me on Russian equipment 914 years. If найду - I shall show you there can be to you it will it is useful.

Colour of figures for the soldier yellow, for light infantry - crimson.
