Completed - well as much as I can be bothered to do........ sorry to say this was a poor cast : cracking subject - excellent pose - but alas : a poor cast. My enthusiasm floundered on this one.

This was only the second figure I have completed since returing to the hobby as I mostly paint busts. I was at the limit of my abilities here - mostly my eysight as although I felt I had done enough pre-assmbly cleaning, the errors of my ways become more and more evident as the painting slowy began to reveal all.

Sorry for the average photoes - this one is being posted and then donated. It will not be staying on my shelf.

As a side note - I use a retarder more and more now with the acrylic paints - it permits a ' wet in to wet ' style that I like. Still got a long way to go though.........specsavers 1st !!

Have a good evening every one.

Great work Dan. I hear some complains at my club about the casting. So guess, I started this two evenings ago. Mine looks oke. Some airbubbles but nothing to complain.
One question. Did you paint the figure when it is assembled, or did you paint it in co-assemblys.
I'm thinking to put it all together, because there are some gaps who needs filling, and as a oilpainter it is hard to mix the same color again.
