WW2 Pilot "Ginger"

Hi Folks,

Found this one lurking in amongst the GA (its amazing what we forget we have!!!) so fancied painting the leather coat and giving him ginger hair , straight paint using my usual Acrylics and water soluable oils .
I wanted a small tribute to those brave pilots who gave their lives so young ( Ginger was 21 when he never made it back from a dogfight.....very poignant

Originally released I think from Black Dog Miniatures.

No David Bailey me !!!... so he looks better in the cabinet!!

As always Nameit did their usual great job on the nameplate.

Wanted to paint it to do the leather coat as well ,it's released as an RAF but could I think be Luftwaffe as well.
