This is a great project, well done both of you.
Only my idea Roger ....my good mate James ( creepy eh ..he loves it when I say ..." I have an idea" ) threw the putty around a bit ! .....we have sorted out what we want for the base ...
Both busts now primed in black

thanks Chris ..the fireman is now base coated ..well the head is ! ..the uniform being a very dark blue almost black looks no different ...blooming fireman eh ..lol

Hi Guys ,
Quick couple of pictures a little way to go on the Firemans face and the lady is all base coated with the eyes done ...looks a bit pale at the moment ( Life Colour Desert Pink)
More updates to follow as and when depending how quickly I swirl the brushes

Update .....
A good productive couple of hours bench time ....
Face finished ..apart from hair and helmet strap
Helmet finshed including Leading fireman red line around base of helmet
Helmet badge shape all done and station number (34) painted on ...." Just "the badge detail to do !
Breast badge began with red edging done ..NFS and number to be added ..with stitching

Tommorows plan ...finish helmet , neck cloth , helmet strap ( leather ) ..then the breast badge and uniform ..then finally the gasmask bag

Update finished the neckcloth going for a worn dirty slightly grimy look same as face .
This is the reason for this post
Jimbo has worked wonders on the base , it's as we spoke about , there are 3 levels be for each bust ....in the bottom right there is a child's doll as a link to the children in the war ...... which I will paint before finally fixing the busts in position (should be about a week before both finished)
I am gobsmacked that someone so good at eating biscuits can also produce this ...TOP NOTCH stuff Jimbo
