A Fixture
Here is my mix and I have to credit Krreston with this and most of my other mixes!!! Thanks Kreston!
Burnt umber+
Yellow Ochre+
white to suit
You can add sepia for some color variations
Add cerulean blue to add a tint of green for the webbing or add white to the regular mix to give your web gear a more washed out, aged appearance.
For shadows I use mars black or straight burnt umber depending on the depth of the fold or crease.
For highlights I use Naples yellow and on rare occasions a touch of white to the naples yellow for highlights on the knees or elbows or where you would generally see the most amount of wear to a uniform.
This mix can also be used for WWII U.S. paratroops by adding more white or Naples yellow to the umber/ochre mix.
Gordy, I'll try to add some pics here soon! Great catagory by the way!!
If anyone has ???? drop me a PM and I'll be glad to help!
