Well, a good start Derek.
and welcome here!

A few more pictures of other angles would be helpful.

While US Reg Infantry and US Airborne shared many uniform items in common, some were distinctive to each. (Jump boots versus regular boots, slightly different cuts in some uniforms, for example)

So I would research now, and decide clearly which it is to be.

Helmet rim needs a bit of straighter edge, the rest of the uniform; is he going to be wearing webbing? It may depress (Squash) the fabric on his shoulders.

Good start though,
what is he sculpted from?

cheers

Great thank you for your input, I should be getting some reference books in soon. I actually have been utilizing the band of brothers series but its a pain pausing every little bit. I am using super sculpey. Very easy to use but a bit soft. Hopefully you will be able to help me along the way for accuracy. ThankS!
