Hi you Masters!
This's my first post and I hope to be in the right forum.
The guy in 1/35 I'm introducing to you is the Commander of a AB 611 armored car in Ethiopia 1940.
Imagine he's on the top of the turret pointing in the distance for something suspicious and asking for a binocular to another crewmember.
It's a deep tranformation of an old tamiya figure (pak 36 servant).
I'm quite satisfied but, before primer and paint I'm here to ask for comments and suggestions to improve it.
Thanks in advance!

I can't comment as I am not a sculptor but I moved the thread to sculpting part ( I am a moderator here ! )

Are you working from a reference ?

If you mean a photo, not this time. I just imagine the scene and try to adapt figures to my idea.
I can't sculpt a figure from scratch so I use old plastic figures dismembered and re-assembled to the wished pose.
Actually I feel like a dwarf between giants, here, but I'm too old to become a master and I will try to ... steal as much as I can! :)

That's a good way to start. I'm teaching myself to sculpt, too. I haven't tried a figure from the ground up yet; I've worked on modifications, and accessories and equipment. I think it's good practice. I'm getting familiar with the techniques and the materials.

Prost!

Hi Eppi

Thanks for the update ....we do have a V bench for WIP's painting as well but no probs you posting on this thread

I don't paint anything with legs...just busts ! .....

.... but the flesh looks really good and I do like the way you've painted those clothes , nice touch having the worn part on the knee with the highs

Possibly push the highs a bit more

A fine start so far

Happy benchtime

Stay safe
