Hi Michael,
I am glad you saying like my works =)
I'll do my best.

I guess the division makes this bust more special. =)

I don't usually make comments on new releases I post but this may be the 2nd German to paint in 37 years of the hobby. Excellent sculpting Ebroin. A real winner!!!

Thanks to above members for your kind and generous comments

Especially thanks to Ebroin & Young B Song for giving me a chance to paint such a gorgeos bust.

It was not easy to complete the big bust like this. but I thought that It deserves to be challenged and my satisfaction with the finished one is beyond compare.

Thank you again for your warm compliment about my works everytime. It's always a big pleasure to me

I'll keep trying to make better painting

Lee,

I have to say I am a little angry. You keep coming up with these impossible acts to follow. It's like sitting Nicole Kidman next to a fella with the poor guy knowing that he almost certainly can't do anything about it.

In another word, you are a true master.

thank you, Guy, and I am very happy that my work gonna be your 2nd German. =)

You painted very long time, even before I was born.
I truely respect your experiences.

Fantastic figure, and also like the idea of a full figure but unable to sculpt, so if anyone can put legs on i would be very interested, all the best roy.

Tony,

First a big thanks for not going down the well trodden road of the nazi rant.

It is in my thoughts that the germans sell well is because sculptors always aquire the best period photos of the germans (of which there are millions easily bought over the net) and sculpt from there.
german military photos are brilliant and clear - a dream for sculptors.

Why is this important? We get brilliantly sculpted busts and kits showing the full force of the german soldier with clear details of webbing, weapons, awards and such.

For most other countires, IMO its hard to get good photos for sculpting purposes. Thus when some nationalities are finally sculpted, we get a bored face, a static pose and little detail. Thus, a model/bust that just doesn't stand out.

I really wish for other country kits (japan!) but until the sculptors give us something great that will stand next to a german sculpt, no one will buy it and stay with something, that even when painted bad will look like a master piece.

P.S. If anyone has seen a german heer in east front winter gear, please let me know
