I've been anxiously awaiting the March release from Young. I have to admit to being a little dissapointed. MUCH respect from me for Mr. Song's work, he is one of the most tallented in the biz, I'm just "up to here" with WWII Germans (WWII is what got me started in this hobby, go figure). This piece is very well sculpted and very well painted, hats-off to Young for that, but I don't see myself investing in this one....not creative enough for my tastes (this coming from a guy who has about a dozen unpainted Young Miniatures busts in the "army"). I know, I know, you do what sells, and I have no quams with that whatsoever. Thanks for posting Guy.

It looks like it will paint up superbly, but I have echo (virtually verbatim) what Jay said, though I have yet to buy any of Young's marvallous busts.

If he does not use the same head on all his German busts they turn out almost the same. Grant it is a nice bust it would be nice to see the faces differ a little more. ~Gary

Nice bust...! Hmmm, the face looks different than other busts
from Young to me, though.

To me, it's kind of "Which Came First, the Chicken or the Egg?" debate
when it comes to popular subjects like WW2 German, Roman, etc.
Manufacturers are waiting for the demand, and the modelers are waiting
for the supply. So which will Come First, the demand or the supply?
Me? I'm gonna wait and see what happens.

hey young i'm not into germans or WW11 so don't know the size of mess tins. i'm sure the WW11 bust fans will love it.'' who dares win's'' dave.
