That's him done apart from a smoke grenade winging it's way from the U.S.

A very big thanks to SDo324 for help with the colour mixes and going to the trouble of sending me the smoker. A very nice gesture, much appreciated.

I tried going really small with the Marpat at first but it looked terrible so although the blocks are a bit bigger than real life, I think they look more "proper" on the figure. You can see how small you can go with the blocks with the scaled down Marine on his back.

I left the webbing pouch off to show the great detailing on the straps on the vest.

The plasticuffs are plastic strip.

I always wondered how many paints I used painting a figure so I kept all the acylics, inks and oils I used on this guy to show you how much I used.

See what you think,

Gells

A proper treat for the eyes, looking at that.

Really like the cable ties, nice touch. Were they part of the "kit", or an add on? I can't remember them from the wip.

Superb painting, Grant.
It is very perfect in all.
And uniform texture of facial expression is great.
Congratulations.;)

Mitsutaka:)

Now that's some typically beautiful work from you Gells. I dig the flack jacket and camo pattern, perfect.

How do you keep your paint bottles so clean? Lol.

Cheers, Ski.

Really nice work, the face really shows exhaustion! The redness of the eyes looks great! Quick question - how did you engineer the hook into the sling attachment point on the rear stock of the gun?

Those zap straps are a really great added touch, now you've got me thinking for my copy..... :)

Fearsome work Grant absolute gem of a figure mate (y) He looks very right even if the camo is out of scale a tad I'm sure somebody will be along with a micrometer shortly :sneaky: as for me I'll just take pleasure in a top class paint job
