I have to go with you on the button thing Jay, those are infinitely more eye catching than plastic would be. I don't think anyone can gripe about this as issue is always a matter of the old and the new. As usual this one proves your uh, intimate relationship with Satan... :}.

Awesome Jay
The most beautiful painting version of this bust in my opinion
Congratulations

Mario

Hi Jay,
a fabulous painting on that bust. I love the fine transitions and your clean work. First thing that cought me was its eyes, I love how you played with details here(and on the finger nails). Best wishes,
R.L.

Hello Jay

Congratulations!

Superb work Jay
Beautifully done, I particularly like what you've done with the representation of your flesh tones in cold weather, congratulations .
Cheers
Alan

Thanks Alan, I'm glad you like the flesh tones. I had to exersize some real restraint from going to dark so I could achieve the "cold" look I wanted. I'm usually right in with deep shadows on the outset that I had to really tone down in this case. Thanks again for the kind words!
