I agree - his Somme bust. His sculpts make you up your painting game.

I suppose its all down to what interests the painter has, (Historically), at any given moment, and what they are looking for in a bust!.. personally. I like a face with 'Oodles', of character! that tells a story!... so, I would plump, for these two!.... & .

I agree with Mark, this is my favourite.
Seems I may have to add a sub machine gun to his weapons though.
The big problem with Youngs busts is that they are all good!

Just got my second one of this. Leans towards fantasy but loads of textures and different materials for the painter. Great face and hair.
Certainly my favourite at the moment.
