What a brilliant piece!....has to be the best Hoplite bust I've ever seen.
What a great time to be figure modelling with superb pieces like this rolling out regularly.

As Mark has said what a great time. This has to be one of the best Ancient releases, bust or full figure this year.
Great expression
Cheers

Like some good guys saw Brad Pitt in last month RAF Bomber Command pilot, :) now I'm the one seeing actor Vincent Regan in the movie 300, where he plays the veteran and trustful Captain Artemis. 300 is an n adaptation from the eternal graphic novel of the same name. Here he is, not as ruthless as the role he created:

And here's a side by side compare between him and the graphic novel striking character:

But ... it can be my imagination working or not ... :hilarious: Cheers!

Indeed, it's a beautifull piece and the artbox is great. I had initially my doubts about the representation with beard and moustache that recent movies shows so much, because the Ancient Greeks were very known for their cult about the corporeal beauty. However, I recently red some articles that show the beard as a distinctive and well appreciated sign of manhood.
So, hope to see soon this beautifull bust in Europe.
