Not my usual scale these days but I'd paint it just for the subject, which is something "a bit different". I'm guessing the era he's from is circa 1960s to 1980s?

Steve,
Till the early '90s were worn this grey-green uniform in Yugoslavia by the JNA (Yugoslav People's Army). Also on the Slovenian and Croatian Battlefield. Later the JNA didn't take part in the conflicts, but the irregural Serb troops, the Bosnian Serbs and the Kraina Serb soldiers used the JNA uniforms. In the next years, as all Armies in the region, and in Europe this time, the camouflage clothes changed the traditional one color uniforms.
