Third Zaporizhia Cossack in this project... zapor3 054.jpgzapor3 047.jpgzapor3 048.jpgzapor3 052.jpgzapor3 053.jpg

Repin's drawing is one of my favourites so I keep watching on your project with great interests.
Every figure is sculpted superbly, I want all in one vignette... :)

Hi Igor!

Again this third Cossack after Repins Painting is really damned good, even like your "Ataman Iwan Sirko"!

I just wished the "fat red Cossack" in the center would be more sculpted after the Repin painting, then I would buy the whole Group (7 figures?).
But because the "fat Red" is in the center of the Group and - IMHO - he "disturbs" the "picture", I won't do that.

Would it be possible to resculpt him, more like in Repins famous Painting...?

Cheers

Hi Igor,

I think that you will gonna be a winner this year, so far you've done a wonderfull job. Very expressive stance!
Best regards,
Nicolae

This is fantastic. This one is the best of them all so far. I would also love to see the middle man size corrected. Nevertheless I am up for the whole set.

Since you do so many Cossacks, I would love to see some Polish Hussars sculpted by you even beated by Cossacks ;)

Pity - but your decision, Igor, and I accept it.

But as nice as the other characters may be, the much too slight "fat red Cossack" will disturb the "picture".
I will therefore not buy.

I would really like to have had the figures, because the Repin-painting is for many years my favorite Picture!

Cheers

Martin, I wrote about will not correct the figure yet. But I'm interested in the success of the composition as well as you.
Therefore, in the final assembly of the entire composition, figure can be corrected, if necessary, after consultation with the customer.

Thank you Igor for your answere!

I think the (even commercial) success of the whole group stands and falls with the revision of the "fat Red" and hope that there is still a possibility to do this....
The two other ones are so wunderful...

Cheers

Dream come true for me!
I have pictured this scene as a diorama for years... I love this painting.
Will the scene include the scribe sitting at the table writing the "reply to the Sultan"? Once the scene is available, complete, I am definitely buying it... RIGHT AWAY!!!!!!!

Show us more!!!

Colin

What can I say? Just waiting to see all the group. It's better and better! I thing you raise the level for realising a lovelly diorama. What a challenge for the painters!!
Chapeau bas !:)
