Hello friends.
I have much illusion to show step by step that Jose Palomares JMPN is realising of the Next newness for Draconia. he is very interesting and it says me to Josep that you can ask what you want that enters both we will respond you to all the doubts.
We begin.......
all the commentaries and explanations are of Jose Palomares - JMPN

Step 1 - Preparation and primer
zhorback1.jpg

Without majors complications, I prepare the mini ones to eliminate the little imperfections that tapeworm, and I apply a layer to him of gray with aerograph (citadel diluted with tamiya).

Step 2 -
It bases A good base, in agreement with which one looks for is essential to obtain what it is wanted without giving many returns. Thus q is important to think the type of tone (of meat in this case) that it looks for. For this figure, I wanted a skin extinguished, so it prepares a mixture with dark meat (citadel), snake byte (cit) and basic meat (vallejo).
zhorback2.jpg

Step 3 - Lights [color]
For the lights I was adding to small amounts of meat mate and basic meat (applying one first general light with aerograph). In this case the volumes estan so well noticeable q is very simple to apply the lights. it prepares a mixture with dark meat (citadel), snake byte (cit) and basic meat (vallejo).

Step 3 - "Shades"
For the shades, I added more " snake byte" , redder and blacker, in small amounts to the original mixture, and I have gone applying them with a fine brush with transparencies.
zhorback4.jpg

I finish the meat, the beard and we put ourselves with the armor. I define the hands and the face, and I painted the eyes. Also I have drawn a small tattoo in the arm.
zhorback5.jpg

Base of the beard: I was think that a blond beard aportaria him a Scandinavian touch, so Brown (citadel) + uses a mixture of bubonic a little blue dark navy (vallejo). Blue dark navy is very useful to extinguish and to darken the color slightly.
zhorback6.jpg

Lights of the beard: This step is very simple, I was adding small amounts of ivory (vallejo) for the lights to the first mixture. As a cruel king must be already his years old… applies ascents until giving small I touch with ivory pure, so that it seems an almost grey-haired color.
zhorback7.jpg

Shades of the beard: I added black to the mixture of the base and applies transparencies on the shadow zones.
zhorback8.jpg

The armor: decided by the metal (it bases of boltgun metal of citadel), it applies transparencies with black plate by plate, differentiating from others. This finishing, I have been able to find it in armors of plates when it looked for documentation. In an armor of this type, to the old being, the plates undergo different wearing downs so that with time it is normal that in an armor of this type some plates by finished others are replaced with and material different.

Hello.
Dannyk01:JMPN, uses the colors of Vallejo range ModelColor.

We follow with SBS Base Layer: After altering leathers to clean a little the aspect of the mini ones, it applies a dark green base to the cloth that falls to him by shoulders. The green one I just a little bit removed from a mixture from green olive (vallejo) + network to it Gore (citadel) + from black. The red one, already sabeis to darken the green one of natural form and maintaining range in warm colors.
zhorback11.jpg

Layer lights: For the lights I was adding to green olive and meat sea bream in the last steps.
zhorback12.jpg

Yellow base: Before continuing with the shades it paints the cloth that enun falls of the belt yellowish ocher tone, obtained to mix violet and bubonic Brown (a yellowish tone of citadel).
zhorback13.jpg

Lights yellow: For the lights, I was adding uniform Japanese and to meat sea bream, maintaining the same illumination that in the green one
zhorback14.jpg

1 Layer Shades: Once advanced the yellow cloth, it applies a series of veladuras as a shade in the green cloth. For it, I added a little red and black one to the basic mixture.
zhorback15.jpg

I hope that he is to you instructive, to know you any doubt, we are here for helping and responding to your doubts. Tomorrow a little more, you do not lose it to you

We follow with the process: Low protection: Good, once parked the cloth (at the moment…), I put myself with the pieces of of leather of the low part of the figure. At the time of painting this piece it tries to respect and to reinforce the texture marked in the modeled one (very good by the way…). The mixture is very simple. A base of English uniform, ascent with bubonic Brown (citadel) and dull bone (citadel)
zhorback16.jpg

Shades of the low protection: I apply shades as a transparencies with English and black uniform, and soon with green and a brown red red mixture. Finally I outline the edges, pinto the threads that unite the pieces and alter some point of light. Also you can see, that in this step I painted the small leather pieces that unite both sides of the armor. In this case in a dark and reddish leather but to differentiate it from the previous one.
zhorback17.jpg

Boots: I painted them to the boots in black, with a Oxford, black mixture blue and meat sea bream. Soon I applied transparencies with black red to give something of brightness to the material and finally I applied a series of brown transparencies to the ends of the boots to give something him of life. Also it is useful to paint them bandage and leathers of the legs.
zhorback18.jpg

Gilded: It is east step I applied a bronze base of andrea to zones like the belt, the bracelets and the crown. I incorporated some golden metal to try to reinforce I throw of which the personage represents a king, Barbarian or no.
zhorback19.jpg

Besides illuminating and just a little bit shading the bronze with gold burnished of citadel and of silver, applies one seri of shades with black mate to extinguish to something the brightness of the metal besides darkening it. Later, I as much introduced a dull violaceo tone in the sceptre as in the fabric of the crown. These colors respond to two things. The purple seems to me a noble, perfect color for a king, and furthermore it fits very well in the chromatic range of the figure. Finally, I introduced shades in dark violet in both cloth (green and yellow), leathers and metals, to unify and to harness the scheme of illumination of the figure.

tomorrow more, thanks

Before placing the axe, it applies finally, the necessary varnish layer mate to the cloth of the figure. As so much can be seen the finished one as the intensity of the color goes out in this step. Of there to that it used as much intensity in previous steps. Once varnished the figure, guinea fowl locates the axe already. It leaves if it for the end he is because by his size podia to bother to me in case of it to have mounted from the beginning. As the size and the location of the weapon podrian to turn it into a too important element decides on dull and little showy colors.
