Greetings,
These are the first busts I have ever painted and the first base build from scratch.
This started off as a WP with each bust getting its on slot, but that idea went tits up after the first post.
So here are all the boys in the band.
All cam from Mitches MM. with the additions on C/Sgt Bourne & Prvt Hook carried out by our own Jimbo. ( THanks Jim)
All painted with Vallejo acrylics.

I think the hardest part of painting these was the fact that the uniforms are wrong and spent more time watching the film to pick out various parts of the uniform.

There on their way. I was in contact with Offo this morning he states he will start the first one next week.
The second hopefully in the beginning of June.
All thirteen subjects have been identified, and detailed notes for sculpting have been compiled for ten of them so far.
So fingers crossed not long to wait. Ive been like a little schoolboy standing outside the sweet shop waiting for it to open.

I did try a big corn bag but it didn't look right so
plan B was actioned.
It is a lot darker in real life.

If I did these I woukd put them in 2's ...officers and the other 2 ..but that's my thing !

I woukd be banging my head against the wall trying not to correct any film errors with uniforms so well done you

Mrs B and I did discuss the grouping but Hook is the odd one out as he is a little bigger
as although we have added the arm he is still not a V bust like the others so he went up the back to get lost a little.
Initial thoughts were to have Hook & Bourne at the front with attached arms on the outside
but that did not look right at all.
