WIP 1879 Zulu war donga vignette

Hi All,
I have literally just finished the donga vignette having test cast the last two base parts today. I have taken some better photo's without all the workbench clutter. This is the 120mm version (54mm version still W.I.P.)
The figure on the left is a trooper Newcastle Mounted Rifles, the righthand figure is a sergeant Natal Carbineers and the foreground figure is a Hlubi trooper.
I hope you enjoy, I certainly have. (workshop now closed, feet up and glass in hand)

Thank you, really glad you see the idea behind the whole composition. That is what I was going for, whilst on the other side a real sense of urgency and careful apprehensive caution in the foreground.

Oh, I like these , they look wonderful. Just googled the uniforms and they will look great painted. Green for NMR, dark blue for NC and I'm guessing Khaki for the Hlubi trooper.

Thank you, glad you like them. Yes you are pretty much spot on, except the Hlubi would not be a true khaki uniform. The only unit to wear khaki in the Zulu war was the Alexandre Mounted Rifles. I have attached an image of each. The Hlubi trooper more brown mustard colour.
