I'm happy to finally share The Jingle man from Creepytables 1/10.

Bought this in 2022 if I remember correctly.

Whilst he took me a good while to paint it didn't take that long!
I lost his hands. Fearing I'd accidentally binned them for a while.
But found them thankfully and he was back on.

This guy was a challenge. One of first busts I bought. Not sure what I was thinking!
A hunk of resin weighing in at a hefty 160g!

Back when i got him I started the robe before much else. That was a mistake - trying to paint the other bits but not dirty up any previous work.

Happy with how he turned out in the end though. The gold parts were my 2nd time properly attempting a nmm gold. Sigh of relief when they turned out ok because the rest was coming together nicely.
The gold trim on his hat I'm really happy with. The trim on his sleeves is ok. The hair could probably go more work.
But I have to call him done at some point!

All painted in acrylics. ( instruments in metallics)

Beautiful piece Rocco, got to admit I'd end up with nightmares painting that but you've done a cracking job, so off beat but I love it.

Cheers Simon

Wow wonderful paintwork

Mobo
Thanks Mobo. Glad you like! :)

Fantastic, especially that nebula. Can picture it swirling while he pipes a hypnotic tune.

Thanks mate. Much appreciated.
Yes that's exactly what I pictured happening. When the hypnotic music starts his eyes go black and and your in a trance transported to the nebula! :)

Many thanks Simon! Cheers mate. It's certainly off beat. So off beat I've only ever seen one other version!
But I guess he got me under his spell!

Now that is weird but you did a great job painting it! Really nice brushwork all round.

Many thanks Nigel! :)

Excellent brushwork, and I like your choice of colours, they work really well.

Malc
Thank you Malc. The pink on the robe was another one of those 'happy accidents'

Had planned to keep it more purple /magenta but I liked how the more pinker side of things looked.
And the opportunity to work with a colour I hadnt really explored before.

He's bizarre but beautifully rendered.
Excellent
Melanie

Very bizarre. Great word for him yeah lol.

Thanks Melanie. Much appreciated.
