Following on with my current Blitz interest, I present my latest ARP. A 1/35 panzer art figure slightly modified with odds and ends from the stash.
I wanted to show that these guys weren’t just busybodies but also got the horrible jobs too.

Thanks for looking.

Great idea, another unusual subject and like Mike says a great tip of the hat to the unsung Heros.

Damn you beat me to it ! Got loads of blitz images as ideas but never knuckled down to actually doing something with them. I shall be following

Hi Paul

Wonderful idea and he looks great .....always good to know your rummaging through your bits box !

Really like the base shaping ....any plans for the hole contents ?

Looking forward to seeing more

Happy benchtime

Nice subject, excellent start. This one also looks like it will be full of character.

Hi Paul

I agree with Mr B , highlights the vital but sometimes unpleasant work carried out

Poss another option rescuing a dog trapped in a utility pipe?

Looking forward to the next update

Hi Paul,

I notice the photo shows the ARP wearing gloves. Would that be standard protection for these kinds of work?

Hi Victor.
I believe standard issue was 1 set of overalls, 1 steel helmet, and 1 civilian gas mask, everything else was your own. Even wellington boots were pooled due to shortages which is why you see them with a number on the front. Most contemporary photos show no other safety equipment.

Hi Paul

Nice brickwork 🧱 there , the angle works really well , the hint of a trapped person adds much and highlights the event

Thanks for sharing the updates on groundwork

Looking forward to seeing more

Have fun
