Hello to all!

I started painting this one bust of H & V.

Between the two heads available, I chose one depicting a young Jacobite.

As usual, I made a acrylic base composed of dark meat, basic red, white, and even English. After painting the eyes with acrylic paint, I painted the face with the following oil colors: burnt umber, mars red, sienna natural lacquer violet, light pink, golden ocher, naples yellow clear, white and geranium.

with flesh, ocher, umber and purple I made the beard

That's certainly the best paint job I have seen on this bust. Some of the others I have seen, including the original ad, make him look very gaunt and angular. You have done a superb job of keeping him round and real. Congrats.

Lookin forward to seeing what you do with the clothing ...full tartan perhaps ?

Maurizio, Excellent job on painting the flesh tones. I appreciate you posting picture of the bust. Very inspiring work. In looking over your colors, what is the geranium color? I am not familiar with the color. I have access to Windsor Newton colors through local hobby shop-Hobby Town. Curious as to what brand and color the geranium would be please.
