New York Riots

This is the figure that I'm currently sculpting.

It's almost finished, just lacking some buttons and terrain.

The figure is in 1/24 scale and inspired by the men taking part in some of the infamous riots that took place in New York City during the XIX Century. I have been looking at some of the equipment used by the firemen at the time - the axe, Hat, shirt...- and, lastly, by the powerful images in the Gangs of New York film.
