Dear Planeteers,
this is my last job.
It is a Terry's Texas Rangers. It was part of the Confederate cavalry brigades organized in Texas during the bloody Civil War.
They also participated in the Battle of Gettysburg proving their worth repeatedly in spite of the battle did not go as they hoped.
From this corps later was born the famous Texas Ranger.
Acrylic Painting for uniforms, belts and blanket. The face is done with oil on acrylic base.
I hope you like it, even if the photos have given me a lot of trouble ....

Beautiful job as usual, especially love the way the hat is done. Whose bust is this?

BTW, the Texas Rangers were around well before the Civil War.
