Hello folks,
Finally arrive these 3 figures i've order from front rank.
I am planning to use them as taken prissioners and casualties, altough they are slightly smaller and less "chubbier " than the Frenchies from Trident but i will make it work somehow, they look great!.
I also planning to add some fren h casualties as the Touraine Regiment made few diversionary attacks agai st the 23rd foot to cover up further construction of siege lines.
Cheers

To be prisoners or wounded are you doing some conversion work , reposing, disarming at the very least?

Colin

Colin, the figure of the officer holding the hat is an easy one for making him a casualty, i am not sure about the other figures,ni will have to separate the fusil and swords to make it work lime they took them prissioners but i am a little hesitant since they are a little smaller in size and separating the fusil and sword will be a little complicated but doable.

I Started the first lights on the officer.
I've used the Army painter Dragon red color primer, i washed it out the entire coat with citadel carrobourg crimson shade wash.
Added the first lights using citadel khorne red, last lights using formula P3 khador red.
Cheers

Hi Daniel,
The smartest soldier in the whole show, looking really good.
Just one point that you may or may not want to add to these three guys. It is a tradition to this day that the 23rd continue to wear the black flash on the back of the collar. I believe to stop the powder from the wig falling on to the jacket, See what you think. http://www.rwfia.org/Traditions_Flash.htm
Cheers,
Keith

It is a very interesting detail Keith? And very easy to make.
Too bad all the smartness of this officer will lay dead on the battlefield, i really like this elegant uniform and great sculpted face , but the pose is perfect for a casualty :-(

Hi Daniel!

Received yesterday some 28mm from Front Rank and they are stunning.
I will follow your progress.

Cheers,
Pedro.

Just curious but why didn't you use Trident British?
Mark

Hi Mark,
I initially was going to order them but i limed the pose of the front rank figs.
I realize they are going to be too small so i will finish them and keep them for future use if Front rank decide to make some French troops.
Regards
