I've done some preliminary work on an officer today. You can see from these photo's just how good the engraving is before I daub paint all over it. :D

In my opinion polish winged hussars are the most beutiful figures to paint, a mix of armours, east europe tissues, animal fur and feathers ... !!!! I like a lot your work, the tones you got are really good... and don't be worry for the flag , I'm sure it will be a beauty... go on !!!

PS. Should you need some documentation about them I am here ....

Thank you very much Francesco. I agree 100% with your comments about the winged hussars, the Pancerni and infantry are almost as beautiful, more about those later. ;)
I will pm you my email address, I have quite a lot of references but having more is always a good thing. I will add a post with some of the references I have used which might be of interest.
