Hello folks,
I am incursionimg a little on the dark side now hahha.
I have ordered these troooers from Black Hussar Miniatures in Germany.
All i can say is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!!.
They are beautifully sculpted, with lots of details.
This is actually my first serious try at 28mm, i am planning to build up some regime nts, maybe about 24 figures total per regiment for individual disay, so , no diorama.
While i am finishing the last figures on the Yorktown diorama i will do these little chaps.
The uniform of this regiment was grey/white coat and pants, red cuffs and blue vest.

First, i am prepping the figs.
I polished the figures using abrassive pads (scotch brite), this is a must step on all my minis ( metals), it is not fun and a tedious process, but it really makes a difference on how smooth the paint lays on the fig.
Then i give it a good wash of detergent and warm water, then brush it off and wash it with water.
Once dry out and proceed to prime the figures out.
Cheers

Thanks mate!.
Yes, i saw Perry, Eureka and front Rank as well, they are all great figures, what i like about this scale is the variety of figures you have, i am not into wargaming, but i think that the lates quality of figures it makes for a good historical display as well.
I with these were in 40mm, the details are beautiful.
Ps: it was my toothbrush, fortunately for me i've got a new one for every day use ;-)

these look great little figures.
looking forward to seeing the finished results which will be amazing if they follow the standard of your yorktown work.
you certainly like giving yourself a challenge.

Thanks Tony, i don't know if it is Challenge or a bit of crazyness to go these small but i certainly enjoy it, and to me that is why we do these hobby.
Thanks againg and good to have you on board.
Cheers

I have primed the figures with the self etching primer, i was gonna prime them with Army painter bone white but realized the Frenchies wore a grey/white uniform back then so it wouldn't work.
So i have paint the base color using Forma P3 Ironhull grey.
Then painted the red cuffs using Formula P3 Khador red base and the blue vest usin Formula p3 blue
