Hi Guys

This is very much a long term project to support this event which is bring organised by a PF member from USA ...Kevin Dunne

The exhibit will open on 9 Nov. 2018 in the Octagon Gallery, Patterson Library in Westfield NY and the McGurk Museum in Westfield NY.

The exhibit will feature works from the libraries collection of original WWI US propaganda posters, WWI uniforms and ephemera, original WWI large canvases of WWI armored vehicles, 135 scale WWI aircraft.

A large a collection of WWI busts.

Hopefully for the opening, there will have WWI re-enactors as well

Nick Dransfield is currently working on the Exhibit poster...a special copy of which will be sent to all participating artists.

The artists can choose to have the busts returned to them or donate it to a permanent exhibit in the museum.

These are my offerings to the exhibition with maybe another French one from my GA

The first is Billy Bishop ( VC winner ) donated by Hawk Miniatures

I have added ribbons under the wings and a Sam Browne cross belt ( I will probably put a VC in the base )

Again I have " added" a couple of things ...

medal ribbon

New collar badges ( will be the 285th Regt )

Rank badges

Armband with a Maltese cross on it a regimental distinction

Above that a musicians badge

B****y hell ralph, if this is you going slow i would hate to see you speed up:p. the figure looks great and i will follow your progress.
judging myself against your output i must be going at supersonic speed in reverse.

tony
Hi Tony.
I really am going very slow this week.
I've been on my own most of the week as Paula went on an unexpected free holiday to Tenerife last Friday(she is back tonight).
Having Paula around keeps me relaxed just knowing that she is there doing her own things.
I'll probably speed back up during next week:).
All the best.
Ralph.
