WIP Critique Fantasy?

I start with a 75 mm figure from Pegaso some weeks ago. It should be a scottish nobleman 13th century, but first I want to paint him as Jon Snow. Then I found in my grey army a nice ruin and changed my idea. After I had nearly finished the figure and want to place the figure as you can see on photo 1 and 2 I had another look in my grey army searching some little dragons for the scene. But I found a special wolf, a direwolf and so I think I will place everything as you can see on photo 3 and 4

I had some problems with the figure. The cape is painted on the boxart as a kilt with fur trim. Never seen that before. And the heavy cape is only held on the shoulder by the clasp. Impossible. So I think I have now a nice fantasy scene

that is a nice fantasy scene those ruins are crying for some Ivy climbing on it

Perhaps some moss on the floor and the walls in addition to the ivy? Dead leaves as well? I like what you have so far

Hi Ulrich. The scene is coming together really well.
Personally I like the bare walls. I think it adds to the drama.
I'd also consider a little bit of surgery to turn the wolfs head to create a bit moe interaction with the Highlander.

Del. I have start with the ivy and it looks cool. The wolf interacts more with something outside the base But I will try to turn both so that they look in the same direction

Just what I was going to suggest: Waiting and attending to something/someone hidden to the spectator...

The wolf could also be sneaking up on him from behind the ruin on the left side and that would eliminate turning the head????
Just a thought.

Have add some ivy and other things. Perhaps you find the little surprise on the back of the ruin
